Cruz Comedy: Inflation Is So Bad, Antifa, AOC and Swalwell Can’t Afford…

Inflation has driven prices on everything so high that even Antifa, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) can’t afford some of their favorite things, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) joked at Turning Point USA’s 2022 Student Action Summit on Saturday.

Speaking at the annual event for students, age 15-26, Sen. Cruz set up his punchlines by first noting how inflation is taking its toll on average Americans trying to buy essentials:

“We got prices skyrocketing. Inflation is out of control. Food is skyrocketing. Electricity is skyrocketing. Health care is skyrocketing.”

Sen. Cruz then delivered his punchlines about how prices have gotten “So bad” – even for leftists:

“It is so bad, Antifa can’t afford bricks.

“It’s gotten so bad, Eric Swalwell can’t afford Chinese dinners.

“It’s gotten so bad, AOC can’t afford fake handcuffs.”
