DA Bragg’s Website: ‘Our Office is a Safe Place for Undocumented Immigrants…’
(CNSNews.com) – Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has a section on his official website that is called “Victim Resources,” and it carries a subhead that is entitled, “Frauds Targeting Immigrants.”
That page on Bragg’s website states: “We protect undocumented New Yorkers.”
“Our office is a safe place for undocumented immigrants to report crime,” it says.
The webpage goes on to say: “I’m undocumented. Can I still file a report?”
The answer: “Absolutely. Our Office is a safe place to report crime regardless of your immigration status.”
District Attorney Bragg’s website expressly states to people who are “undocumented under federal law” that Bragg’s office will “protect your safety and your rights.”
