Republican Drops Bombshell on The ID of Who Leaked SCOTUS Roe v Wade Decision

The draft Supreme Court decision that overturns Roe v. Wade was leaked to Politico and published in part early this month. The left went insane and even became violent over the news.

When the final ruling comes down, there will be even more violence incited by the left.

Democrats hope to influence the justices through violence to change the outcome of the decision. They are also using the leak to motivate their base to vote in November as the midterms are predicted to be a bloodbath for them.

In the draft opinion, the justices denounced the 1973 ruling that guaranteed the right to abortion under the federal constitution and a 1992 decision that effectively maintained it, Planned Parenthood v. Casey. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the draft.

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he stated in the document, which is titled “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Five justices – Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett – voted for overturning, while three – Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan – dissented. According to the report, Chief Justice John Roberts has not made his decision yet.

Roberts is not happy about the leak, though. And he says that members of the court will not be threatened or bullied into changing their minds, ever.

The Chief Justice criticized the Roe v. Wade opinion leak in a private meeting, calling it “absolutely appalling.”

In remarks to judges and attorneys in Atlanta first reported by CNN, Roberts said he hoped ‘one bad apple’ would not affect ‘people’s perception’ of the high court.

Having leaked the document, he called the individual or persons responsible ‘foolish’ for believing that it would influence court decisions.

He announced earlier this month that an investigation would be conducted into the ‘betrayal.’

‘I have directed the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak,’ Roberts said in a statement.

Roberts said the leak was an ‘egregious breach’ and an ‘affront to the court.’

‘We at the Court are blessed to have a workforce – permanent employees and law clerks alike – intensely loyal to the institution and dedicated to the rule of law. Court employees have an exemplary and important tradition of respecting the confidentiality of the judicial process and upholding the trust of the Court. This was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here,’ Roberts declared.

‘To the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected in any way.’

The protesters who have gathered outside the homes of conservative justices are being warned that they may be held accountable for an infraction not unlike the one for which some Capitol protesters were charged on Jan. 6, 2021. It is prohibited to attempt to intimidate judges into changing their judgments under 18 U.S.C. * 1507.

During an interview on Thursday, a Republican member of the House said leftist justices of the Supreme Court are very likely to know who leaked the draft decision written in February overturning the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade abortion legalization decision.

Rep. Matt Rosendale said he is certain that at least some of the justices are aware of the identity of the leaker in an interview with Newsmax TV.

“We all could probably agree that the justices that were appointed by Democrat presidents know who the leaker was,” he declared.

“What bothers me, it’s not only the undermining that it did of the institution and the trust factor that these folks have with each other,” but that now that the trust has been damaged, “it’s very difficult to restore it.”

According to him, while it was not certain whether or not the release of the draft opinion was illegal, protesting in front of the home of a Supreme Court justice is definitely a violation of federal law that is intended to intimidate them into changing their minds.

Conservative justices, who left their signatures on Alito’s majority opinion, have faced protests in front of their homes.

“It is a federal crime to go in and try and get a justice to change their vote,” Rosendale stated. “To try and influence the outcome of a court decision is a crime. It’s a federal crime, and again, we see the Department of Justice is laying down on the job and not pursuing these people that are trying to intimidate them.”

Eventually, someone will be revealed as to who released the information, according to the Montana Republican.

“There could be more people involved, and those people could go all the way to the top,” he added. “Don’t eliminate the judges because you know people, so there’s no way that would happen. No way. Think about it. Michael Sussmann is on trial right now for Russiagate. That happened six years ago. We’re only getting answers right now. I hope it doesn’t take another six years to get answers to what happened at the Supreme Court.”

In addition, Rosendale blasted President Joe Biden for rising gas and energy prices, which are ruining American families.

“The higher energy prices hurt the people on the lowest end of the income scale the most, and when you live in a very large rural state like Montana, this is incredibly hurtful to the weekly budget of anybody who lives there,” Rosendale lamented. “You have great distances of travel, and when you get to the store now, you’re finding out that the products are going to cost you a lot more as well. So this is just very bad. It’s inflation. The inflation that we see in the numbers that are reflected don’t even include the energy costs.”
