Those Celebrating Valentine’s Day Aren’t Loving the Higher Costs of These Popular Gifts and Activities
If you usually cook your Valentine a steak dinner, then give him or her a diamond and a card, you’ll spend less this year – but, otherwise, you’ll probably spend more due to inflation, a new study reveals.
This year, the cost of a diamond, at $11,010, is down 9.60%, while the price of sirloin steak at a grocery store, at $10 a pound, is 8.01% lower, compared to last year, according to an analysis by Point2. The cost of a card was unchanged.
