Tucker Carlson: The ‘Invasion’ at the Southwest Border ‘Will Completely Change America,’ ‘It Will Never Be the Same’

What’s happening at the nation’s southwest border constitutes an “invasion,” and the U.S. will never be the same because of it, Tucker Carlson warned Wednesday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Discussing with Congressman Andy Biggs (R-Arizona) the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, and the millions of illegal immigrants already living in the U.S., Carlson noted that even the world community has recognized the dangerous conditions at the nation’s southwest border.

“The United Nations just declared that the U.S.-Mexico border is the deadliest in the world. In the world!” Carlson stated. “In the United States, welcome to third-world America!”

Carlson asked Rep. Biggs if it’s fair for some Texas counties to have declared the surge of illegal immigration into their communities “an invasion.”

“Yeah, it’s fair, it’s accurate. Arizona’s attorney general has said the same,” Rep. Biggs agreed, adding that the problem is being caused by Biden Administration policies:

“It’s not stoppable, because we basically said, ‘Come in.’ And, you ask them, ‘Why are you here?’ and they’ll say, ‘Biden told us to come in.’

“That is an invasion. That is an invasion.”

Carlson asked Biggs why no one is being held responsible for the massive wave of illegal immigrants entering the country:

“So, this will completely change America. In a democracy, the citizens get to decide what kind of country they want to live in. Now, it will never be the same country, ever. Millions of new people, all illegal.

“So, why is this not a crime that’s being prosecuted? Why isn’t the president being impeached – the president being impeached – for this?”

“Well I think it should be,” Biggs said. What’s more, the failure to enforce border laws is deliberate, the congressman said:

“I think, because they’ve deliberately – when I say ‘they,’ I mean President Biden and Kamala Harris, Secretary Mayorkas – they have deliberately stopped enforcement under Title Eight, which is the Immigration and Nationalization Act, and then you also have Title 42, which they are hedging on.

“They are not enforcing the law; they are not allowing ICE to actually remove people, and they are actually, surreptitiously, providing a de-facto amnesty program to a lot of people they are catch-and-releasing.

“To me, that’s a violation of the law and it’s dangerous to this country – because, we can talk about terrorists, crime, we can talk about the drugs that are coming in, we can talk about the danger to the people that are coming in illegally.”

“But, the guy in Viking horns is a threat to democracy? No, Biden and Mayorkas are a threat to democracy- a real threat, I would say,” Carlson concluded.
