Video: V.P. Kamala Harris Says ‘Community’ 5 Times in 1 Sentence to Explain that Community Banks are ‘in the Community’

In a tautology that has gone viral on social media, Vice President Kamala Harris employed circular logic to try to make a self-evident point – by repeating the word “community” five times in one sentence on Tuesday.

In one 14-second span during a speech in South Carolina promoting voter registration, Harris explained that the Biden Administration understands that community banks are in the community:

“We invested an additional $12 billion into community banks, because we know community banks are in the community, and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of community.”
